Ritual is a personal choice, a sacred choice, a beautiful choice to connect with your inner wisdom, your divine, your innate higher power. 

It has a definition rooted in religious practices, but in my opinion, is a choice to quiet the mind, the tasks, the endless chatter, and choose to go within.

It can be prayer, meditation, writing, sacred and authentic movement, candle carving, intention setting, chanting, breathwork. 

There is no definition that can perfectly sum up ritual - because despite it being rooted in repetition, like a dance, it is never the same for we are never the same. 

Ritual flows just as we move and grow and change.

My ritual offerings follow these three tenants, guided by spirit and held in safe spaces:

• Community - a gathering of like minds in a safe space. Whether it is 20 people or just you and me, we create a community in our gathering.

• Open Energy- each individual comes with an open heart, a desire to gather, and without judgment, unafraid of the magic that we may conjure, knowing that energy transfer is one of our greatest tools in this life, so we arrive with open energy, willing to receive the medicine of our container.

• Light Work - we dare not delve into the realms of the dark ritual practice, this does not mean we will not reveal our shadows, or dark parts for that is the crux of our work together - finding the light in our darkness - but we come from a place of gratitude, a place of safety, and wholeness.

No matter what our ritual offering together may look like - they are guided by these three tenants offered to me by spirit, so that our boundaries are safe during our time together.
